The WEF Ladies are back!

On April 3rd the final riders finished their rounds at the 2022 Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. The past three months were filled with many sporting highs for Emilie and Zoe Conter, as well as Petronella Andersson. Many wins, personal bests, and rankings richer - one could say that these three months was time well spent. Moreover, Zoe had a quick stop in Miami Beach, at the Longines Global Champions Tour before heading home. Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z and Bingo STE Hermelle approved for BWP!

We are pleased to announce that our two incredible stallions have now been officially approved for BWP!  The Stallion inspection organized by BWP took place on the same weekend as Tobago and Bingo were competing with Daniel Deusser at the Saut Hermès in Paris. The week after the BWP jury visited the two stallions at home and carried out the inspection at the Stephex Stables.     The outcome of the inspection was extremely positive, as both stallions were approved for the BWP studbook.   The list of approved studbooks keeps growing for both stallions. Tobago is now officially approved for Zangersheide, KWPN, Holsteiner and the BWP studbook. Bingo’s resume also contains Zangersheide and BWP, as well as the Selle Français studbook.   And...

Our Superstar Stallions are back from Sunshine Tour!

Scuderia 1918 Halifax van het Kluizebos and Oak Grove’s Heartthob spent the past five weeks in sunny Spain. They were part of the 30 horses that Kendra Claricia Brinkop and Michael Hughes took along to the famous Sunshine Tour Montenmedio. Both horses achieved a lot of success. Kendra competed in the Young Horse classes together with Oak Grove’s Heartthrob. It is no doubt that this horse will reach some great heights. Kendra Claricia Brinkop and Michael Hughes are back from Sunshine Tour Montenmedio. They’re looking sun kissed, a little tired, but very happy. And rightly so! During their time in Spain they both experienced loads of success. Both riders brought around 15 horses with them, including at least seven young horses. What a great win for the Stephex Team last week at The Dutch Masters Indoor Brabant! Team Belgium wins gold at the European Championships for Young Riders!

Belgium's young riders put in a strong performance at the European Championships for Young Riders in Vilamoura, Portugal. The team secured the gold medal with a score of 21.35 over three rounds. The silver medal was won by Ireland with a score of 23.56 and Great Britain got the bronze medal with a score of 28.72. In the Sunday’s final Emilie Conter managed to bring another individual medal to the Stephex stables. She secured the bronze medal with Balento C.S (Balou du Rouet x Cento). Congratulations to Emilie Conter, Thibeau Spits, Thibault Philippaerts, Maartje Verberckmoes and Alexander Housen for this outstanding performance!

We are back on top!

The secret to success is to be surrounded by a great team. Yes, we are back on top of the world as our very own Daniel Deusser captures the most sought after spot of the FEI ranking list. It has been a phenomenal season for Daniel and he has done a fantastic job fighting his way back to the pinnacle of showjumping. He takes the lead from Steve Guerdat, with Martin Fuchs maintaining his third position.
