The Stephex Teams have kicked off the summer season with a string of impressive performances, gathering placings from 1* to 5* classes.
At La Baule, the Stephex talent was on full display as team Petronella Andersson and her trusted partner Odina van Klapscheut (I Am Moehove’s Star x Landor S) clinched victory in the CSI5* 145cm class. The pair wasted no time in their turns, taking jumps in precise lines and finishing a stylish round just ahead of Cian O’Connor and Germaine W.
La Baule is one of my absolute favorite competitions. The venue, the crowd and the atmosphere is excellent.

In the CSIO5* Nations Cup Team Sweden placed third after a tight battle with team Belgium and team Brazil. Petronella rode two fantastic rounds with Castres van’t Begijnakker Z (Coriano x Palestro). The entire team, riding in good time, displayed excellent teamwork and skill.
Last weekend prior we saw another triumph for Team Petronella, as they emerged victorious in the CSI3* Grand Prix at JPM International in Kessel. Claptonn Mouche (HH Conrad x Elan de la Cour) crossed the finish line twice with a fast time and a clear round. With a full class of 44 riders, the team did an exceptional job!

Looking ahead, Team Petronella is preparing for their next destination, Stockholm, where they will continue their pursuit of excellence. Theo, accompanied by the horses Loharna P, Claptonn Mouche, and Odina van Klapscheut, is currently on the road, ensuring a comfortable journey for the equine athletes and maintaining their optimal condition. The STX Horsetruck, their trusted companion, plays a crucial role in ensuring the horses’ well-being. The innovative facilities of the horsetruck makes sure that the horses arrive at their destination fresh and ready for the upcoming weekend.
At Lier, Team Emilie Conter and Daniel Deusser also left their mark, securing well-deserved recognition. Emilie and Ocean Quality (Baltic x Calato) won the 145cm class and Daniel Deusser placed third with his new team member Legolas ter Wilgen (Emmerton VDL x Chin Chin).

Team Michael Hughes’ impressive achievements cannot go unnoticed, as they secured consecutive wins in the 2* and 3* Grand Prix events in late May. With the exceptional performances of their horses Melodie – K’ van’t Kattenheye (Cornet Obolensky x Kannan) and Calinka de Boyer (L’Arc de la Triomphe x Pegase Gerbaux), they emerged victorious at Sentower Park and Fontainebleau. Similarly, Team Kendra Claricia Brinkop celebrated a grand success at Sentower Park with the talented 7-year-old Quercus van den Oude Eik (Jenson van’t Meulenhof x Darco), claiming victory in the CSI1* Grand Prix.
