CHIO Aachen 2024!

This past weekend it was time again for the event of the year. CHIO Aachen! 3 of our riders traveled to Germany to compete in this internationally acclaimed event.
Petronella Andersson, Daniel Deusser & Kendra Claricia Brinkop

Including the Rolex Grand Prix and the Nations cup, CHIO Aachen offers a wide range of classes. On Thursday, riders representing their countries competed in the Nations Cup. The course, built by Frank Rothenberger (GER), included an open water at No. 4, followed by a triple combination with a vertical-vertical-oxer. A huge triple bar with round water troughs beneath it at No. 10, followed by a high Rolex upright at No. 11 and a Mercedes-Benz oxer to end it all at No. 12.

Kendra and Tabasco De Toxandria Z (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve x Cento Lano) competed for Germany and managed to deliver 2 clear rounds. 🚀
Not only Kendra put down a clear performance, also Petronella kept the honor of her country high. For Sweden she also rode 2 clear rounds with Opaline de W&S (Etoulon x Zirocco Blue Vdl). 💪
Stephex girls on fire! 🔥

On Friday, Gangster v/h Noddevelt (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Careful) lived up to his name. He rushed to a fantastic 6th place in the CSIO5* 1m60. Petronella rode to a top-10 place in the CSIO5* 1m45 with Ollister Du Lys (Hunter’s Scendro x Quaprice Bois Margot).

On Saturday, both Kendra and Daniel competed in the CSIO5* 1m55. Kendra rode to 8th place with Do It Easy (Vigo Cece x Laeken). Daniel and Gangster followed close behind with 9th place.

We closed the weekend in Aachen with the CSIO5* Rolex Grand Prix 1m60. Daniel and Killer Queen VDM achieved 11th place in the difficult and technically built course. Daniel writes the following on his social media:
Extremely proud of Killer Queen VDM who jumps again into an 11th place of the @rolex GP of Aachen 2024. 😊 Thank you to my team, my horses and all my fans for another exciting week @chio_aachen. Hope to be back next year. 🙏 #thebestisyettocome #rolex #rolexgrandslam #chioaachen

We’re very proud of our Stephex team (present at Aachen & behind the scenes) and would like to thank everyone that is involved in the development of our riders and horses! 🙌
